Parnish Shiv Dhiman
A crusader for Women’s Education leading to their Empowerment; 30 years old Parnish Shiv Dhiman is a modern day Wiz – Kid; but has left behind her IT Career after doing her MCA; and has undertaken to shape the careers of the young girls, into leaders in all spheres of life.
Parnish took to Home Tuitions and teaching the young children, almost 8 years back and has helped shape the futures of more than 300 girls. She is a popular tutor amongst the girls, for Mathematics, Science and other tricky subjects.
With a strong desire to provide help to special children, Parnish got in touch with Disha Ngo and enlisted as a volunteer to teach and empower underprivileged girls of Kansal village; to help them secure admission to a regular school. Parnish has also undertaken to help the students of regular schools, with their studies; since they cannot afford private tutors.
Parnish says this is her responsibility to the society. She feels we must return to the society and begin at an early age itself when you are most productive. “I do not want to wait till I am old and spent, with hardly any energy left for my own self”.
