19 years old Rajsi Sahni is a resident of Jammu, J&K. She is pursuing her career in the field of Biotechnology and is an aspiring writer too.
“I had never worked on any such platform before working for the ‘Voice of Blind’ but helping whosoever is in need, has always been my priority. I saved a drowning 4-5 days old pup an year and a half ago and that event particularly made me realize that we actually have the power to save someone’s life and enhance it’s quality. Hope and will is all it takes. We can always reduce and end someone’s suffering.”, she says.
According to her, credit and appreciation must not be a prequisite condition for helping someone. Having something that the other person lacks is not a matter of bragging but a source that we have been gifted with to help others. So, it must be used accordingly.
She wants to spread awareness regarding ‘organ donation’ and tends to reform the healthcare system in particular so that among many other issues which bother us today, healthcare no longer remains one of them.
